We can't thank you enough for our incredible trip to Egypt and Jordan! We can only describe our trip as a crescendo, with everyday an adventure rivalling the last. We really appreciated the personal service, the hotels were wonderful and food was great. Your country would be a treat to visit under any circumstances, but your services made it doubly so. We always felt in good hands, well cared for and well informed. The travel was seamless, everything was so organized, and yet we appreciated the ability to make changes in our schedule. Shawn and I particularily appreciated being able to continue with the trip to Sinai when all the other members of our group changed their plan. Thank you also for the unexpected extras such as our last night 's dinner together! We loved our guides. They were knowlegable, charming, patient, and fun to be with.
In retrospect, it would have been nice to have more ready access to small currency. That would have helped us more with the street vendors, because the bank machines gave us such large bills.
Thanks again Raouf! We have recommended you to many people and have forwarded your address to our friends, the Charltons. We hope all is going well for you and your family. We watch the news and pray that Egypt will have freedom, peace and prosperity. We LOVED our trip.
This is the perfect time to go to Egypt/Jordan. There is absolutely no reason to worry. Our group (11 happy Canadians) loved and cherished every minute of our time in Egypt and Jordan. Many in our group cried as they said their final goodbyes to our tour operator and guides. Both countries are perfectly safe and beautiful It would be a shame to wait another year when once again all the tourist will be back. We had numerous upgrades to our accommodations and were treated like royalty. We all agreed that if time permitted we could return to Egypt and Jordan again and again. Mr. R. Louis:
I wanted to write a letter of recommendation for you and your company. We just returned from a 3 week tour of Egypt and Jordan that was planned way back in 2000. As a result of the Revolution we had to postpone our travel plans until this year. It was touch and go with all the news reports of unrest in Egypt, and Canada's travel advisory against traveling in Egypt. After reading a few blogs from people (ex-pats) living in Egypt we finally decided on taking the trip. We were 13 in our group all Canadians except one American couple who backed out at the last minute. We as a group felt comfortable about the trip and didn't expect any trouble. We are not risk takers by any means. Mr. Louis assured us that we could stay clear of any trouble spots like Tahrir square which was very quiet when we were there. It was not really any different than the occupy squares we had in Canada over the Wall street protests.
We left Feb 14 arriving on the 15th and were met at the airport by Mr. Louis's assistant Walid as planned. He got our Travel Visa's and helped us through customs and handled the luggage for us. As we were all coming in on different flights he had to repeatedly return to the airport for the other travelers.
Our experience was fantastic. Travel Egypt tours made us feel well looked after every step of the way, and we did not feel threatened or unsafe the whole time we were there. The guides were excellent and went out of their way to get whatever we needed. We found the people of Egypt and Jordan very hospitable and kind and very interested in our well-being. They quite often invited us into their shop for tea and a chat. The food was some of the best we have experienced anywhere in the world both in Egypt and Jordan.
I would highly recommend Raouf Louis and Travel Egypt Tours to anyone thinking of traveling to Egypt or Jordan. Now is a great time to go because tourism is down 70-80% and there are no crowds at the sites.

Dear Raouf:
Just to tell you that I did have a very nice time in Egypt. Thirty years have passed and though the sites remain the same, improvements to the areas have much improved with easier access to them.Alexandria and St.Catherine's monastery were new to me as I did not visit those areas in my first visit.
The Mediterrean Sea,castle and city of Alexandria was beautiful and St.Catherine's a most significant area to visit. Cairo,the pyramids,sphinx and museums were fantastic as ever,seeing new discoveries at the tombs and other places also was exciting to experience. Security at all the sites were reassuring and I felt at ease with being in Egypt. The cruise was wonderful and the staff most attentive and courteous. The hotels were
great as well as the staff. Only the hotel at St.Catherine's was a bit of a disappointment but I guess it couldn't be helped. The weather was fine,the sand storm, though a little frightening,yet, exciting to have experienced
it, and the food also was good.
The guides were knowledgeable, but could have been more helpful, if they slowed down a bit at the sites when climbing steps and give a helping hand at times when exiting and entering the vehicles.Mohammed was a bit fast in his walking and could have been a little more helpful in the climbing of steps. Osama was more helpful in those
situations, yet he too, could have slowed down in his walking also.
The vehicles and drivers were fine. I truly enjoyed the trip and would not hesitate to call upon Egypt tours to handle any other trips I may take in the future and would recommend your tour company to anyone who may be

The service your company provided was all round excellent. Ahmed met us before the Passport Control section of the airport, he had already purchaed our Visas and he was so very helpful. Ahmed also got us an early check in at the hotel. He is friendly and likable and we appreciated his help at that time so much. Hani the driver was great and Rania was an excellent guidess. Rania is open minded, full of facts and information. For our tours, Hani and Rania were always on time and we thought it was very well organised. The lunch spots were good also. I appreciated very much that we were offered to stop at the
Perfume
Palace and Papyrus place as well. They were 2 things I wanted to do in
Cairo.
